Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest possible before theflop hand inholdem Poker. But regardless a good many bettors end up on the wrong end when dealt these cards.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You are sitting with the greatest achievable hand at this part of the game. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Always remember, you’re attempting to acquire as much money from this strong position. You need to maximise the possibility. Going all-in will simply drive most competitors into folding before putting a wager.
If you’re in the early spot (1st or 2nd to place a wager), you will place a single bet. Any person with a decent hand will call, with luck somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your plan will be to get rid of any player that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you will trick 1 player into believing that you’re bluffing.
If you’re in the middle or late position (near the last to bet) you will watch as everyone calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players drop out after the flop. If you do not abolish your opponents you chance squandering your hand.
