Beginners Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a great game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the house, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to be concerned about any other, more experienced players winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game pace, novices can take their time and strategize while not having to make quick selections.

It’s also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with basically a little amount of money after all, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the house is given seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the houses.
