Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker player states at no time to have peered down the shadow of an approaching tilt – they are either lying or they haven’t been wagering for a long time. Since we are assumingly (most of us) in the game for one purpose – to earn $$$$, it certainly makes sense that we would bet accordingly to maximize profits. Now let us say you are up $100 off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a large hit in a No Limits game and your bankroll is down to one hundred and twenty dollars. You’ve lost eighty dollars in a hand where you were sure to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and had a ten to one advantage. And that amateur! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a quintessential opportunity for a new gambler to start tilting. They just lost too much money on one hand that they really should have won and they’re agitated
