Online poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes immediately to the house. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, with an amount on par with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your ante and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
