Web poker has become world famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous types on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers receive five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or surrender. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes directly to the casino. After the bet is the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including an amount equal to the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out cash equal to your initial bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
